Private hire is available Tuesday – Sunday.  We operate an over 18s only policy for private events and a minimum spend & deposit will be required for exclusive use of the function room.

Free use of our Attic space is available for university societies only Tuesday-Thursday evenings (minimum number of 35 guests required for private use).

Sunday Roast bookings are served between 12-3pm each week. Last seating is 2:30pm for roast lunch. Kids, vegan and celiac options are available upon request.

Our weekly quiz is hosted every Monday evening and we have live music every Friday night.

Student open mic night runs every Sunday during term times.

Occasional special events such as cider festivals take place during summer and spring. Keep an eye on our socials or ‘Coming Up’ page for full details.

Candles on tables and fairy lights available for the event spaces. Customers are welcome to bring balloons or bunting for private hires however we ask that confetti or confetti cannons are used at any time.

Under 18s are welcome until 6pm every day. Extended until 7pm during half-term and school break periods.

Exeter Central Station is a short walk from the Old Fire House. High street bus services are easily accessible. Parking is available in the surrounding neighbourhood streets and City Centre car parks.

Well behaved dogs welcomed inside and outside until 8pm.  Please let us know if you have a service dog ahead of your visit.

Our beer garden holds 42 seated, plus room for standing guests. The ground level holds 30 guests seated, plus standing room. Our first floor holds 64 seated guests, with some limited standing space around tables. Our second floor Attic room is available for private hire and holds 45 seated guests, and 55 standing guests.

We do not allow drinks or food from outside into premises.
